As summer comes to a close, Florida enters the peak of hurricane season. While some tropical storms may pass by our beloved sunshine state, others can transform into severe category 5 hurricanes that can make a direct impact. And although the path of these storms is never certain, it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

The Basics:

  • Water (3 day supply per person)
  • Non-perishable food items: granola bars, fruit cups, canned goods, crackers, etc.
  • Batteries/Matches
  • Flashlights/Candles
  • First Aid Kit
  • Portable Charger
